Job summary

Cornerstone Kitchens and Closets in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Production Manager who reports to the Vice-President. You will help set production capacities, ensure targets are met, and oversee the Quality Assurance program to safeguard quality, safety and efficiency.

You will lead daily planning, adjust schedules, supervise staff, manage inventory, and collaborate with the Shop Supervisor to drive improvements in processes, tools and machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of Production Management experience in a people leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen cabinet construction, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Criminal record check clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with production and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and oversee daily production activities and adjust schedules to meet objectives.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality, efficiency and cost control.
• Review staffing and maximize output, collaborating with the Shop Supervisor to implement changes.
• Provide ongoing training, supervision and guidance to team members.
• Maintain accurate on-hand inventory information and proper storage/handling.
• Monitor efficiency against baselines and oversee machinery, tools and production software.
• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support and customer consultation.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Promote a safe work environment and compliance with health and safety programs.
