Job summary

The International Group, Inc. in Toronto is seeking a detail-oriented Production Shift Clerk to support daytime operations at the plant. You will handle documentation, scheduling, and work orders to keep shipments moving smoothly.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, your responsibilities include verifying shipping docs, issuing BOLs, managing logs, and coordinating driver scheduling while ensuring quality certificates and JD Edwards familiarity are considered assets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Sound working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Logistics experience is an asset.
• Experience working with JD Edwards is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Verifying shipping documentation for ship confirms – tank wagons, rail cars, EC coatings in JD Edwards.
• Creating and matching packing slips on customer websites.
• Coordinating and issuing BOLs to drivers for corresponding jobs.
• Calculating and verifying weights before ship confirms are entered.
• Generating and completing a carrier performance report.
• Managing and filing work orders.
• Maintaining seal logs in compliance with CTPAT requirements.
• Coordinating driver scheduling with work orders.
• Generating monthly production reports.
• Maintaining scheduling log for various customers.
