Position Summary

Lead and actively participate in one or more phases of store production operations to ensure goals are met safely and efficiently. Responsible for monitoring select store production functions to conform to company policies. Ensure team operates safely and environmentally compliant, while effectively working within administrative policies. Assist the Production Supervisor as needed.

Essential Functions

• Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Team to ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies. Promote a clean, safe, and compliant store environment.
• Oversee store housekeeping and maintenance of equipment, reporting issues and following preventative maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to improve results and implement strategies.
• Participate in hiring, training, delegation, and scheduling of personnel.
• Monitor and evaluate performance; train and develop staff.
• Communicate policies and lead by example.
• Assist in customer care and production duties as needed.
• Ensure production goals are met by monitoring activities.
• Work with support resources to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
• Spend at least 85% of time working directly with the production team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Activities

• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and ability to handle tools and lift 50 pounds.
• Sufficient vision to perform job functions safely.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Assist in selection, training, development, and evaluation of hourly employees.

Job Conditions

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
