Job summary

Alliance Door Products in Winnipeg is seeking an assembler to join our shop team. You will use basic hand-tools (saws, drills, nail guns) to assemble interior and exterior door units, following shop drawings and work orders.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with compensation ranging from $16 to $20 CAD/hour plus extended medical, dental and RRSP benefits. High school diploma and carpentry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Door shop/industry experience preferred.
  • Carpentry/woodworking experience preferred.
  • Comfortable with safely using the basic shop tools (saws, nail guns, pneumatic tools and drills).
  • Mathematical aptitude, able to read a tape measure and understand imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
  • Understand how to read and comprehend work orders
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift
  • Ability to safely and frequently lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
