Job summary

Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is seeking a Production Associate for its North York, ON facility. The role involves moving, sorting, dismantling and lifting materials in a fast-paced plant environment, operating a baler and shrink wrapper, and assisting in warehouse tasks while upholding safety standards.

Key responsibilities include sorting by grade, dismantling electronics, data recording in ERP, and maintaining site cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sort electronic materials by grade to maximize production output.
• Manually dismantle electronics materials with small tools.
• Follow policies and work instructions for daily activities.
• Sort materials into defined categories and report weights processed.
• Record data into ERP system regarding weight of material.
• Remove batteries from electronics.
• Maintain housekeeping and site safety.
• Report issues to supervisor promptly.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

Title: Production Associate

Location: 700 Ormont Dr, North York ON, M9L 2V4

Shift time: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM & 3:30 PM to 11:30PM

Position Status: Permanent Full-Time

We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team. In a specified area of the plant, the Production associate will be required to move, sort, break apart and lift materials in an efficient manner while respecting standards of security and safety. The production associate will be responsible for operating the baler that compresses and bounds materials, operate the shrink wrapper, and assist in other areas of the warehouse as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifies and sorts different electronic materials in assigned boxes while adhering to classification of commodities into different grades to maximize production output
• Manually dismantle electronics materials by hand of small tools
• Follow policies, procedures, and work instructions for all daily activities.
• Sort materials into defined categories and report weights processed
• Record data into ERP system regarding weight of material
• Remove batteries from all electronics.
• Always maintain housekeeping and site cleanliness with a focus on Health & Safety
• Promptly report any issues to the Production Supervisor or designate
• Other duties may be required as requested by supervisor or team lead
