Job summary

Floodway Print Company is seeking a Production Assistant in Winnipeg to support screen making, job prep, packing, and press assistance. This entry-level role offers learning across the shop in a small team with no prior decorating experience required.

The position starts part-time with flexible hours and grows to full-time as responsibilities increase. The crew works Tue-Fri, 8AM–6PM, in Winnipeg's Exchange District, using a ROQ P10 auto and a Douthitt CTS.

Job description

It takes a village to make amazing custom merch. The Production Assistant makes and reclaims screens, preps jobs so the press is ready to run, stacks and packs finished garments, and jumps on press when a job needs a second set of hands.

It’s the entry level of our production team, and it’s a small crew, so you’ll learn the whole shop rather than one corner of it. No decorating experience needed to start.

What the job looks like

• Making screens and reclaiming them after a run.
• Prepping jobs so the press is ready to run.
• Stacking and packing finished garments.
• Helping on press when a job needs a second set of hands.

The role starts part time with flexible hours and grows into full time as you take on more of the shop. Our production team works Tuesday to Friday, 8AM to 6PM, so it’s a four day week and your hours sit inside that.

We print for Winnipeg’s best bands, brands, businesses and events out of the Exchange District, on a ROQ P10 auto and a Douthitt CTS.
