Job summary

Floodway Print Company in Winnipeg is seeking an Accounts Manager who becomes the main bridge between customers ordering merch and our print team. You’ll own each order from the first email through to press, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Day to day you’ll quote and book orders by email, prep artwork in Illustrator/Photoshop for client approvals, and verify blanks are in the shop on schedule. You’ll proactively improve processes in a small Lean shop.

• Strong attention to detail in busy environments.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator.

Job description

The Accounts Manager is the person our customers talk to. You’re the link between the people ordering the merch and the people printing it, and you own an order from the first email through to the moment it goes on press.

You’ll break down pricing and book orders by email, get artwork checked in Illustrator, build mockups in Photoshop for customer approval, and make sure the blanks are in the shop before the job hits the schedule. When a file or a spec is wrong, you’re the one who catches it before it goes on press.

• Keeping orders moving through the shop, and flagging anything that stalls.

• You actually like customer service, and you’re good at it.
• You’re quick on a computer. Gmail, cloud tools, keyboard shortcuts.
• You catch details when it’s busy, not just when it’s quiet.
• You know your way around Photoshop and Illustrator.
• You can run your own day without someone checking on you.
