Youtooz is seeking a Production Artist to drive plush product development from concept to manufacturing, delivering production-ready artwork and precise turnarounds.

Ideal candidates excel in Adobe Illustrator, understand anatomy for character design, and communicate across English and Mandarin with suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

• Exceptional Adobe Illustrator skills with advanced vector drawing ability.
• Strong experience creating clean, accurate character turnarounds with Adobe Illustrator.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, construction, proportion, and character design.

Responsibilities

• Create clean, production-ready character turnarounds in Adobe Illustrator
• Produce plush specification sheets and manufacturing documentation
• Prepare clear, organized sample feedback sheets for factory revisions
• Translate written communication, production notes, and feedback between English and Mandarin to support collaboration with our manufacturing partners
• Support turnaround creation and sample reviews based on team priorities
• Assist with factory communication and production problem-solving
• Help improve production documentation, templates, and internal workflows

As a Production Artist, you'll help bring approved concept artwork through every stage of plush product development by creating production-ready artwork, reviewing factory samples, and collaborating with our internal production team and manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate is an outstanding Adobe Illustrator artist with excellent vector drawing and character turnaround skills. Experience in the plush, toy or soft goods industry is a bonus.

The pay range for this role is:
50,000 - 65,000 CAD per year(Vancouver, Canada)
