Job summary

Youtooz is seeking a Concept Artist to translate content creators into distinctive 2D collectibles that fit the brand aesthetic. You will research personalities, craft initial concepts, and refine iterations to align with the project vision.

The role requires 3-5 years in concept art, proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator/Procreate, and a solid grasp of art fundamentals. Experience with 3D programs (Maya, ZBrush) is a plus. Montreal-based studio, on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in concept art/drawing/sketching.
• Strong experience with Photoshop, Illustrator or Procreate.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and solve problems.
• Solid understanding of colour theory, perspective and proportions.
• Visual development best-practices: roughs, silhouettes, lineups.
• Excellent visual eye and attention to detail.

Youtooz creates designer toys for the heroes and role models of the internet — Youtubers, Instagram influencers, celebrities, athletes, rappers, and more. Concept Artists at Youtooz will create the aesthetic and look for our product. They are responsible for taking a content creator or popular IP and turning them into a 2D concept that fits the brand’s aesthetic guidelines and accurately personifies the creator.

The pay range for this role is:
50,000 - 70,000 CAD per year(Toronto, Canada)
