Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Production/Application Support Engineer with Unix/Linux, Python, and Perl expertise. The role covers L3/L4 production support, troubleshooting across on‑prem and cloud environments, and ensuring system stability.

The ideal candidate will handle IBM DB2 databases, NAS storage, and archiving applications, while managing incidents and changes and collaborating with IT teams to keep services running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in Unix/Linux, Python, and Perl.
• Experience with IBM DB2 databases.
• Experience managing NAS storage environments.
• Experience supporting archiving applications.
• Strong production/support (L3/L4) capabilities and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3/L4 production support and troubleshooting for applications and infrastructure.
• Ensure system stability across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Lead incident, problem and change management processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve complex issues.
