Product Support Representative - Construction

Join to apply for the Product Support Representative - Construction role at Wajax.

Role Overview

Play an integral role in the sales process as an outside Product Support Representative. Build your business by developing customer relationships, answering product and service questions, and suggesting information about other products and services that Wajax offers. Collaborate with team members to provide expert advice, product solutions, and a comprehensive customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop customer relationships within a defined territory.
  • Conduct outside sales calls to clients.
  • Generate customer referrals.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Provide customer feedback and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets monthly and annually.
  • Assist in creating and submitting bids for national opportunities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, internal departments, and suppliers to track order status and ensure timely delivery.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or Red Seal Certification in a related field such as Parts & Warehousing or Heavy Duty Mechanic.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in sales, marketing, or related business fields.
  • Knowledge: Heavy equipment knowledge is an asset; familiar with IMPACT selling process; valid driver’s license required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM (Salesforce preferred).
