Description

The Opportunity

Play an integral role in the sales process as an outside Product Support Representative. Build your business by developing customer relationships, answering product and service questions, and suggesting additional products and services offered by Wajax. Collaborate with team members to provide expert advice, knowledge, and product solutions for a comprehensive customer experience.

The Role

  • Invest in customer relationships within a defined territory.
  • Conduct outside sales calls to clients.
  • Generate customer referrals.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Provide customer feedback.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly.
  • Manage phone and email inquiries.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly/annual basis.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting bids for national customer opportunities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, internal departments, and suppliers to track orders and ensure timely delivery.

The Candidate

  • Education: College diploma or related Red Seal Certification in fields such as Parts & Warehousing or Heavy Duty Mechanics.
  • Work Experience: 2-3 years in sales, marketing, or related business fields.
  • Knowledge: Heavy equipment knowledge is an asset; familiarity with IMPACT selling process; valid driver’s license required.
  • Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
