Job description

The Opportunity

Prospect and source new customer opportunities within a defined territory through the development of a Strategic Prospecting Plan. Obtain comprehensive knowledge of Wajax’s product offerings to provide expert advice and tailored product solutions for client needs.

The Role
  1. Manage customer satisfaction within the existing territory.
  2. Identify and resolve issues promptly.
  3. Respond to phone inquiries and demands from established and prospective clients.
  4. Meet and exceed all sales targets as determined monthly/annually.
  5. Assist in creating and submitting bids for national customer opportunities.
  6. Liaise with manufacturers, in-house departments, and relevant suppliers to track order status and ensure timely delivery.
The Candidate
  1. Education: College diploma or post-secondary education.
  2. Work Experience: 2-3 years of related experience in sales, marketing, or equivalent business experience.
  3. Knowledge: Familiarity with heavy equipment is an asset; understanding of the IMPACT selling process; valid driver’s license required.
  4. Proficiency: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
