WestJet Group is seeking an Intermediate Product Owner to drive the Day of Travel Command Centre vision for the WestJet App. You will own a portfolio of mobile app capabilities, guiding them from discovery through delivery and optimization.

You will collaborate with developers, designers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver experiences that create measurable value for guests and the business, while monitoring guest feedback and analytics to inform decisions.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Product Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or related disciplines.
Experience leading initiatives from discovery through delivery in Agile environments.
Proven backlog management, user story development, prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration.
Experience using feedback, analytics, and performance metrics to inform decisions.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and digital product delivery.
Experience with consumer-facing mobile apps or digital experiences is a plus.
Experience in travel, loyalty, digital commerce, or guest experiences is a plus.

Responsabilités

Own and deliver mobile app initiatives from discovery through launch and post-launch measurement.
Define requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and OKR aligned success metrics.
Manage and prioritize product backlogs in alignment with guest needs, business objectives, and technical considerations.
Partner closely with Development, UX, QA, and Analytics teams to deliver valuable guest experiences.
Take accountability for successful delivery, adoption, quality, and ongoing performance of initiatives.
