Job summary
ProSlide Technology in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Product Development Engineer, EIT to drive innovative waterslide products from concept to commissioning. You will work with a multidisciplinary team on design, development, installation, and validation, enhancing safety, performance, and guest experience.
The role is in-office at our Ottawa head office; travel may be required and the company emphasizes hands-on engineering and collaboration with diverse teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant development experience.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned product development projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring PDP compliance and meeting schedule, budget, quality, and performance objectives.
- Partner with Product Designers to translate engineering requirements into designs.
- Develop and manage development schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to the Product Development Director.
- Coordinate development activities with internal stakeholders including Product Designers, Project Delivery, Operations, and Project Engineering Coordination teams.
- Participate in and lead design reviews, technical reviews, and pre-engineering reviews as required.
