Job summary

Komline Pure Water seeks an Electrical EIT/technologist to support electrical power, control and instrumentation design for water and wastewater facilities. You will collaborate with the Senior Electrical Engineer to develop layouts, schematics, and interconnections, ensuring compliant, buildable, cost-effective solutions.

The role emphasizes coordination across disciplines, involvement in fabrication and testing, and adherence to Canadian electrical codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and EGBC registration (P.Eng.) preferred.
• 3+ years in project-based industrial/manufacturing/process environments.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and controls integration.
• Strong knowledge of design procedures, specifications, and engineering software.
• Experience developing control schematics from P&IDs and coordinating with shop-floor teams.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power, distribution and control systems for water treatment facilities.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel schedules.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, instrumentation and controls disciplines.
• Support FAT, commissioning and field installation activities.
• Assist with procurement, vendor submittals and cost estimating.
