Best Buy Canada in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Product Designer II to help create seamless omnichannel experiences across mobile app, bestbuy.ca, and in-store touchpoints. This remote-first role includes in-person collaboration at our Vancouver head office.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of product design across strategy, research, interaction/UI, and validation, with strong communication and the ability to deliver within tight timelines in an agile, multi-platform environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience across strategy, research, interaction/UI design, and validation.
• Experience designing end-to-end experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.
• Ability to ramp up quickly on in-flight work and deliver within set timelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across organizational levels.
• Experience in agile, multi-platform environments with legacy and modern systems.
• Experience with Figma, Confluence, and Jira.
• Exposure to AI-enabled tools, design systems, accessibility standards.
• Proactive, growth-oriented mindset.

Join us as a Product Designer II and contribute to our One Best Buy vision. In this role, you’ll help create a seamless shopping experience as customers move between our online channels and Canada-wide store network.

This role is ideal for an experienced intermediate designer who brings curiosity and a balanced understanding of strategic and tactical design. Strong communication skills and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work within tight timelines are essential.

Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to envision and design seamless end-to-end experiences across our mobile app, bestbuy.ca , and in-store touchpoints. As an active member of Best Buy Canada’s Product Design community, you’ll also contribute to shared design systems, practices, and ways of working. This role reports to the Experience Design Lead for the One Best Buy Team.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do:

• Help frame customer and business problems, needs, and opportunities to help teams align.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of product design experience across strategy, research, interaction/UI design, and validation.
• Experience designing end-to-end experiences over multiple touchpoints, spanning digital and physical channels.
• Ability to ramp up quickly on in-flight work and deliver within set timelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across organizational levels.
• Comfortable facilitating through ambiguity to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Experience in complex, agile, product-driven environments with multi-platform systems (legacy and modern).
• Experience with Figma, Confluence, and Jira.
• Exposure to and knowledge of best practices for AI-enabled tools, design systems, accessibility standards.
• Proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
