Alberta Health Services is seeking a Procurement Specialist III - Contract Coordinator to lead sourcing strategies, negotiate terms, and draft commercial and service agreements for Emergency Health Services. You will support contract implementation and ongoing management within a collaborative Contract Strategy & Performance team in Edmonton, with hybrid work in Alberta.
You will coordinate RFx processes, evaluate proposals, and ensure contracts meet organizational objectives.

The Procurement Specialist III - Contract Coordinator will be pivotal role within the Contract Strategy & Performance team with EHS Alberta. We are seeking a driven professional to develop comprehensive sourcing strategies, participate in negotiations, and drafting commercial & service agreements while supporting contract implementation and ongoing management. As a Contract Coordinator, you will be part of a collaborative team managing Emergency Health Services and commodity agreements for personal equipment. You will use your expertise in contract development and negotiations to ensure agreements are tailored to meet organizational objectives. In this role, you will build strong relationships with EHS Alberta, Emergency Health Service Partners, and the vendors who will support EHS needs. You will work closely with various internal and external parties to review service models, incorporating their requirements into the contract deliverables and service descriptions. As a Procurement Specialist III, you will showcase your excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff and external vendors. You will develop new contracts and contract amendments that create value and mitigate risk to AHS. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the competitive bidding process including RFx evaluations preparing contract documents, assisting with contract implementations and managing contracts within their assigned categories in compliance with AHS procurement processes, policies and guidelines.
