A typical day:

Successful candidates will have:

  • Minimum 5 years of procurement or senior buyer experience
  • Experience managing laboratory, scientific, technical, medical equipment, or specialized procurement categories
  • Strong knowledge of formal sourcing processes including RFQs, RFPs, and tendering activities
  • Experience negotiating supplier contracts, pricing structures, delivery schedules, and service agreements
  • Understanding of public-sector procurement principles and compliance requirements
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience evaluating total cost of ownership and supplier risk
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
