You will oversee daily procurement operations, coach staff, and manage end-to-end sourcing and contract management, partnering with the Procurement Manager to modernize workflows and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or post-secondary education in business, operations, supply chain, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead procurement teams and drive value.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and contract management.
• Experience with risk management and compliance in public or large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day procurement operations to ensure seamless execution and strategic value across purchases and contracts.
• Collaborate across faculties and administrative teams to translate policies into actionable guidance.
• Champion modern procurement strategies, ethical sourcing, and vendor management across the university.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to align purchasing with institutional goals and budgetary frameworks.
• Lead capability building and upskill team members in procurement practices and contract management.
