Job summary

Cambrian College is seeking a Manager, Procurement – Capital and Construction to lead the procurement strategy for capital and construction projects. You will oversee RFx processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery within budget while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

You will play a key role in the procurement leadership team, driving continuous improvement and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and CPSM/CSCP is desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience with capital projects or construction.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead a team and manage complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for capital and construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
• Develop procurement strategies and manage RFx processes, bid evaluations, and contract awards.
• Oversee supplier relationships, risk management and compliance with legislation and policies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align with college goals and budgets.
