Job summary

URUS is seeking a Procurement Senior Manager to lead a global function at the center of our supply chain. Based in Balzac, Alberta, you will oversee spend analysis, supplier negotiations, and a high‑performing team, partnering with Finance, IT, and Operations to deliver measurable value.

You will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, implement improvements, and report on KPIs, with regional and international collaboration in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in procurement or related field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in procurement, sourcing, or commercial management.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP, analytics, and reporting; JDE and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day procurement operations and align priorities with business objectives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to support team performance.
• Own procurement reporting, KPIs, and savings tracking.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Legal, and stakeholders to improve processes.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
• Conduct spend analysis and market evaluations to identify savings opportunities.
• Support procurement governance, policy compliance, and risk management.
• Collaborate with North America and international stakeholders.
