Job summary

TRIUMF’s Procurement department is seeking an Assistant Procurement Specialist to join the team. The role focuses on processing requisitions, issuing purchase orders, and tracking orders while maintaining supplier data and documentation accuracy.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (or related field) and at least one year of post-graduate procurement experience, with a professional designation like SCMP/CSCP viewed favorably and certification in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field and at least one year of experience post-graduation.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions and issue purchase orders, including supplier onboarding and reports.
• Keep track of purchase orders, respond to inquiries, and manage PO lifecycle.
• Review change orders and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders including Finance and Supply Chain.
