Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a Purchasing and Logistic Associate to support site-specific purchasing and production-related materials. The role may include inventory control, order expediting, and cross-functional collaboration with branches and suppliers.

You will prepare POs, verify pricing, and assist with month-end invoicing while supporting SharePoint setup and cost-tracking activities. The position is office-based with some warehouse exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; university/college degree an asset.
• At least 3 years of experience in an office environment of distribution/logistics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders, verify pricing, and communicate with vendors.
• Support inventory management, expedite orders, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate freight, dispatch RBS trucks, and maintain schedules.
• Collaborate with purchasing, vendors, and branches; assist with month-end invoicing.
• Assist in setting up SharePoint and maintaining cost templates.
