Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation is seeking a Production Scheduler to create daily production schedules and manage cycles for raw materials and finished goods. You will generate work orders, monitor variances, and update schedules to align with monthly targets.

The role requires coordinating with Customer Service, Production, Shipping, and Purchasers to meet demand and maintain inventory health. The position emphasizes accurate production reporting, adherence to schedules, and participation in S&OP

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and databases.
• Strong analytical skills and good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor the flow of finished goods inventory.
• Maintain inventory levels to support inventory turns and customer demand.
• Prepare a Daily Production Schedule and review backorders to inform Customer Service.
• Coordinate with Production and Shipping on daily production and storage of inventory.
• Back up for vacation coverage for the Slitting schedule.
• Attend S&OP meetings and assist in month-end close processes.
