Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• 2 years purchasing or storeroom experience.
• Excellent computer skills, strong in Microsoft Office.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Forklift ticket/experience.

Responsibilities

• Purchases stock and non-stock goods to maintain inventory levels.
• Confirms price, issues Purchase Orders, coordinates transportation and expedites delivery.
• Performs AP related tasks (web cycles, IDRs, matching packing slips to invoices).
• Maintains inventory control via min/max levels and cycle counts.
• Educates storeroom customers/contractors on processes.
• Backs up Materials Manager as needed.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs and works flexible hours including weekends.
