Job summary

hrsystem is seeking a Production Specialist / Warehouse Labourer in Edmonton, Alberta. The role involves manufacturing and distribution tasks, including picking, shipping/receiving, and occasional customer delivery. A strong safety focus and reliable transportation are required.

The position requires 3-5 years warehousing/production experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime and night/weekend work may be necessary, with training for equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills and interact professionally with team members.
• Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Basic mechanical skills including use of hand tools.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Assemble products to company, customer and manufacturer’s standards.
• Perform product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and work instructions.
• Receive incoming shipments into inventory and post in online system.
• Pick products in warehouse and prepare items for delivery or shipping.
• Deliver products as required.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (training may be required).
• Assist with physical inventory and record results.
• Propose product or process improvements to management.
• Perform other duties as trained and qualified for.
