Job summary

Worley Canada Construction in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist for Electrical & Instrumentation to join the procurement team. You will handle end-to-end procurement, supplier management, and expediting to support project schedules.

The role requires 1–3+ years in procurement/supply chain with E&I materials knowledge, and familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office. Based in Edmonton or project site, travel may be required, with collaboration across project teams

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in electrical/instrumentation packages.
  • Electrical and/or Instrumentation trade experience or technical E&I knowledge.
  • Experience in industrial construction, oil and gas, power, or renewables sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, bids, evaluations, negotiations, expediting and PO administration.
  • Familiarity with ERP/materials management systems (AVEVA ERM or similar).
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Procure electrical and instrumentation materials end-to-end for projects.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, bidder lists, and issue RFQs/RFPs.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations for commercial and technical compliance.
  • Prepare commercial bid evaluations and supplier recommendations.
  • Lead or support negotiations to achieve competitive project outcomes.
  • Prepare, issue, and administer purchase orders and revisions.
  • Maintain procurement records and supplier communications.
  • Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with project teams, clients, and suppliers on procurement status.
