Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Store Keeper for a 6‑to‑12‑month assignment in Edmonton, AB. The role covers warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, materials handling, cycle counting, and work order support within a structured warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate inventory transactions, maintaining safety and housekeeping standards, and supporting replenishment activities while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to verify deliveries against packing lists and PO's.
• Capable of preparing outgoing inventory with proper packing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving.
• Support cycle counting and periodic physical counts.
• Assist in work orders and inventory transactions per planning needs.
• Maintain bin locations and housekeeping to safety standards.
• Support kanban and replenishment activities.

Job description

Job Title: Store keeper Duration: 6 months to 1 year Schedule: Mon-Fri 3pm to 11:30pm. Weekend on-call rotation and overtime may apply. Location: Edmonton, AB

This opportunity is with a leading technology and services company operating across the energy sector. The role focuses on warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, materials handling, cycle counting, and work order support within a structured warehouse environment. This position offers the chance to contribute to efficient product movement, accurate inventory transactions, and high standards of warehouse safety and housekeeping.

Required Experience

• Experience working in warehouse operations, materials handling, shipping and receiving, or inventory management
• Experience inspecting, receiving, storing, picking, packing, issuing, and disposing of inventory items
• Experience supporting work orders and completing inventory transactions in line with planning team requirements
• Experience performing inventory cycle counts and supporting periodic physical counts
• Experience investigating and resolving local inventory and warehouse issues

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of product and material handling within a warehouse environment
• Ability to check incoming deliveries against packing lists and purchase orders and report discrepancies promptly
• Ability to prepare outgoing inventory with accurate packing and complete documentation
• Ability to maintain warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency and safety
• Ability to support kitting and Kanban point-of-use replenishment activities
• Strong focus on warehouse housekeeping and compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards

Required Certifications

• Forklift or materials handling equipment training and certification to operate equipment in the role
