Job Description
  • Conductingproduct research and sourcing new suppliers andvendors
  • Compare andevaluate offers fromsuppliers
  • Develop profitablepurchasing strategies
  • Sourcingmaterials, goods, products, and services andnegotiating the best or most cost-effectivecontracts and deals
  • Negotiatecontract terms of agreement andpricing
  • Assess supplierprofiles and analyze offers
  • Performinginventory inspections and reordering supplies andstock as necessary
  • Track orders andensure timely delivery
  • Manage relationshipswith key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely deliveryand compliance with terms of contracts
  • Inspecting stockand reporting any faulty items or inconsistenciesimmediately
  • Coordinate withwarehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  • Report KPI (KeyPerformance Indicator) data as requested by Purchasing Directorto assess, analyze and track vendor performance

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degreein business, logistics, or a related field may berequired
