Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) is seeking a Procurement and Contract Specialist on a temporary, auxiliary basis with a hybrid work model (2 days in-office). The role focuses on procurement lifecycle management, contracting guidance, and policy implementation to support CLBC's strategic goals.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of related experience, with strong communications, judgement, and organizational skills.

Status/Term:Auxiliary/Temporary assignment – Anticipated 70 hours bi-weekly until March 2027
Classification/Salary:Financial Officer R27: position starts at $48.25 hourly

Location:Any CLBC office(Hybrid – 2 days a week in office – after passing a 6-month probation)

Reporting to the Manager, Procurement and Contract Accountability, the Procurement and Contract Specialist applies sound procurement and contracting expertise to provide technical advice and recommendations on the ongoing application of and compliance with procurement, contracting, principles, participates in the procurement lifecycle with Head Office and Regional stakeholders, develops and monitors the procurement and contracting guidelines and framework, and conducts ad-hoc projects to support CLBC strategic goals in matters of procurement and contracting.
