Background of Client and Ministry:

The Children, Youth and Social Services Information and Technology Cluster (CYSSC) is part of GovTechON within the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement (MPBSDP). We collaborate with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) to develop human-centered and integrated services for our most vulnerable Ontarians. Deliverables and Requirements:

1. Preparing procurement documents: RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
2. Developing and reviewing Statements of Work (SOW): Ensuring completeness and compliance with procurement regulations.
3. Developing bid evaluation criteria: Collaborating with team members and managers.
4. Reviewing procurement processes and procedures: Ensuring compliance.
5. Recommending contract awards: For software, IT services, consulting, and other acquisitions.
6. Contract follow-ups: Working with Legal Services, Supply Ontario, IT Source, Flextrack, etc.
7. Improving procurement procedures: Assisting in development and updates.
8. Managing reporting databases and systems: Such as VMS.
9. Supporting the procurement team: As needed.
