Job description

Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a Procurement Analystfor a 6-month contract located in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sourcing Analyst in a Procurement background.

As a Procurement Analystyour duties will include but not be limited to:

• Implementing and continuing project delivery for a sourcing operations environment to deliver a consistent and excellent stakeholder experience

• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver on business objectives

• Conducting analysis and developing insights and recommendations that are actionable in alignment with project and program goals

• Preparing preliminary Project Opportunity Strategies and Deal Summaries

Qualifications required for the Procurement Analyst include:

• 1-2 years of relevant strategic sourcing, supply chain, and/or procurement experience, as well as a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project lifecycle

• Knowledge of sourcing/procurement processes, procedures and controls

• Knowledge of relevant risk and regulatory requirements
