Join the Litens Purchasing Team as a Purchasing Analyst. As an expert in Cost Estimation for Components and Tooling, this individual will lead and support Purchasing with the implementation of tools, financial models and on-site activities of suppliers that increase the company’s level of understanding of supplier cost drivers and identifies / pursues opportunities for continuous improvement. This role may also include buying responsibilities for selected parts at the discretion of the Global Director, Purchasing.

What will you do?
o Generate RFQ’s to suppliers for new production parts and / or engineering
changes. Communicate drawing exceptions requested by suppliers to product
o Negotiate piece price and tooling cost with suppliers.
o Recommend suppliers to be sourced following Litens Global Purchasing Commodity
Strategies and considering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
o Issue production parts and tooling purchase orders, as well as subsequent price up
dates in the system.
o Evaluate price adjustment requests from suppliers and conduct negotiations to
minimize the cost impact for Litens.
o Facilitate the “Supplier Request for Change” process (SRC)
o Support Material Control escalation process on supplier delivery issues.
o Ensure that a professional conduct and approach is taken in relation to all supplier
business relationships.
