Job Overview:

The Financial Analyst will assist with budgeting, forecasting, tracking, analysis, and reporting of financial data related to procurement, supporting both short- and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the annual budgeting process by collaborating with other departments to produce a comprehensive bottom-up budget.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts with detailed analytical support for all projections.
• Develop analytical models in Excel to aid senior management decision-making on special projects.
• Analyze and present recommendations on financial forecasts, trends, and their impact on operational goals, establishing linkages with commercial and operational functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
• Analyze weekly and monthly variance reports and explain deviations.
• Provide analytical and technical expertise on major initiatives.
• Participate in month-end activities and ensure effective internal controls are in place, monitored, and adhered to across the company.

Recipe for Success:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience.
• CPA, CMA, or CGA designation completed or in progress.
• Knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods industry and proven financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Results-oriented with attention to detail, initiative, and independence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening skills.
• Willingness to drive change, focusing on innovation, process improvement, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to prioritize demands in a fast-paced environment.
