Job description

Precision Well Servicing is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Administrator to join our team!

This position to be based out of our Red Deer facility. Our teams have returned to our office facilities, and remote work is not available for this role.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for day-to-day processing of purchase order requests from creation through to completion
  • Adheres to policies and procedures surrounding spending limits, approval allowances and receiving processes
  • Accurately process receiving documents and maintain records in procurement systems in accordance with Precision's policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure the smooth processing of the company's transactions
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the procurement function

What will you offer?

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Procurement related role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Demonstrate ability to take initiative, to work independently and follow through on work assignments

  • Experience creating purchase orders; previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX is an asset

  • High school diploma or equivalent

The Precision Well Servicing team is responsible for well completions, workovers, and abandonments. We use a variety of service rigs that are suited to each scope of work. The wells are located in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin which includes Northern BC, Northwest Territories, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
