Job summary

AGT Soileos Saskatchewan is looking for 2 Process Operators to join the production facility north of Rosetown. These are full-time positions with rotating shifts in a continuous operation facility, and overtime may be required.

The role includes operating equipment, monitoring and troubleshooting the process, sampling for QC, and performing sanitation and cleaning to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in Canada.
• Ability to operate machinery including forklift.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong conceptual, problem solving and communication skills.

Job description

AGT Soileos Saskatchewan is looking for 2 Process Operators.

The Process Operator will be responsible for the manufacturing and handling of raw materials and/or finished products at the new AGT Soileos production facility north of Rosetown. These are Full time positions and will involve rotational shifts in a continuous operation facility and overtime may be required.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Actively promote a safe and efficient work environment consistent with good manufacturing practices.
• Operate equipment and provide ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and adjustment of the AGT Soileos production process.
• Obtain product samples and perform QC testing in accordance with established SOPs.
• Execute sanitation and cleaning of process equipment and general cleaning of work areas to contribute to a safe working environment.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Work Environment

• Lifting 25 kg bags
• Ascending and descending stairs at multi story height to perform work tasks
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Repetitive tasks
• Standing for extended periods
• Dusty, hot, noisy conditions may occur simultaneously at times

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to work in Canada.
• Ability to operate machinery if required, including forklift. Additional training will be provided as needed to successful candidates.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to manage a number of tasks in a complex manufacturing plant environment, including strong conceptual, problem solving and communication skills.
