Job summary

Agrisan, located in Arthur, Ontario, is seeking a Process Operator for the day shift to support production of specialty chemical and pharmaceutical products. You will operate process equipment, assist with packaging, and maintain high quality and safety standards within a hands-on manufacturing team.

The role offers day shift hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), opportunities for overtime, and a small, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical work (standing, lifting up to 50 lb, repetitive motion).
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Make batches according to written instructions, monitor and confirm process parameters.
  • Operate process equipment (scales, pumps, fillers, labelers).
  • Fill, label, package, and palletize finished products.
  • Set up equipment and stage materials for production runs.
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report issues.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
  • Complete production documentation accurately.
  • Work closely with the Quality team on sampling and adjustments.
  • Follow all SOPs, GMP, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.

Shift & Work Environment
  • Day shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Occasional overtime available
  • Work in an industrial manufacturing environment (noise, PPE required, chemical handling)
About the Role

You’ll be part of a hands-on manufacturing team producing specialty chemical and pharmaceutical products. This is an active role involving equipment operation, packaging, and maintaining high quality and safety standards. If you prefer steady, physical work and being part of a team where your contribution directly impacts production, this role is a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities
