Job description

AGT Food and Ingredients Inc. is looking for a worker to join our team at our Eston, SK location. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all basic housekeeping and re-processing functions throughout the facility as needed.
• Responsible for implementing the Housekeeping / Sanitation program daily around the facility/grounds.
• Follow all policies as developed in the Food Safety Program.
• Complete basic warehouse duties.
• Load containers and railcars of bagged/bulk product for export.
• Operate automated bagging and processing equipment in shipping areas.
• Monitor all checkpoints where quality can be compromised within the warehouse area.

• Punctual, dependable, and reliable with the willingness to learn.
• Able to communicate well with management and coworkers.
• Work well as a part of a team or independently.
• Capable of lifting weights up to 55lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
• Good organizational skills.
• Experience in repetitive manual labour is an asset but is not a requirement.
• Valid Class 5 license is an asset but not a requirement.
• Background in agriculture and general knowledge of equipment an asset but not a requirement.
