Marwood Ltd. is a dynamic producer of value-added forest products for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. With several operations in Atlantic Canada, we serve markets throughout North America and Europe. Marwood Ltd has an opportunity for a candidate to join our Operations Team as a Process Improvement Specialist. This position is located at our head office in Tracyville, just outside of Fredericton, NB.

As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and ensure product quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions and monitor the effectiveness of these changes. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design and execute process improvements.
• Monitor the efficiency of production activities using various data analysis techniques and measure results against established key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
• Conduct project costing and payback analysis, prioritizing improvement opportunities.
• Support planning, scheduling and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or Forestry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience with CAD software and ArcGIS would be an asset.
