Job summary

Marwood Ltd. in Brookfield, NS is seeking Wood Production Labourers for a full-time, on-site role with steady hours. Shifts include days (Mon–Fri, 7:00 am–4:30 pm) and nights (Mon–Fri, 4:30 pm–1:00 am).

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with wood products, using hand and power tools. Starting at 18.36/hour, candidates should be reliable, punctual, and able to commute. English communication is required; manufacturing experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools to support wood production.

Responsibilities & Requirements

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you’ll work with wood products, use hand and power tools, and help keep production running smoothly. Tasks may include wrapping and bundling materials, applying labels and tags, stacking, and performing general handling duties. The role may also involve operating industrial equipment such as saws, planers, and loaders, as well as carrying out housekeeping and other general labour tasks as required.

You must be able to reliably commute, work both day or night shifts, and communicate in English. We’re looking for dependable individuals who show up on time, maintain consistent attendance, bring a positive attitude, and perform well in a busy environment. A solid work ethic and willingness to learn are essential - manufacturing experience is an asset but not required.
