Summary

As a Process Engineer, you will collaborate with the Engineering team on projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, and efficient resource utilization throughout the production process.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Develop and evaluate processes related to production lines and equipment, working closely with the Engineering team.
2. Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
3. Troubleshoot major process issues beyond the capabilities of operating team members.
4. Implement process controls to ensure product quality and optimize production performance.
5. Design new methods and equipment improvements to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
6. Participate in discussions on operational challenges, safety protocols, food safety, maintenance, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements, including documentation.
7. Handle special projects across various functional areas as needed.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of process engineering experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Experience as an application or continuous improvement engineer is a plus.
• Knowledge of data collection systems and equipment systems.
• Ability to gather business requirements and develop solutions.
• Experience with manufacturing measurement tools such as industrial scales, scanning, and vision systems.
