Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Asset Reliability Planning to develop and implement a proactive maintenance program based on reliability centered maintenance.

The role will coordinate between operations, production planning and reliability teams, scheduling maintenance in SAP, and safeguarding CMMS data. You will drive annual maintenance plans, analyze downtime, support KPI targets and work with internal teams to minimize interruptions while upholding food safety and quality

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, technology graduate or 5 years of related maintenance trade work experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in preventative maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, planning / scheduling and time management skills.
• Knowledge of RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• SAP knowledge would be an asset.
• Strong MS Office computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning and scheduling for maintenance objectives and optimize maintenance effectiveness.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance leadership to meet deadlines and determine work priorities.
• Develop and maintain overhaul plans and communicate with production and maintenance teams.
• Monitor CMMS data integrity, analyze downtime reports, and drive improvements in reliability.
• Distribute weekly scheduled PMs to supervisors and support KPI targets.
