Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a Specialist, Asset Reliability Planning at our Heritage site in Ontario. The role develops and implements a proactive maintenance program based on reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles, coordinating with operations and planning teams to minimize production interruption and maintain CMMS accuracy.

You will schedule maintenance activities in SAP, manage documentation, and support KPI targets while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, technology graduate or 5 years of related maintenance trade work experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in preventative maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, planning/scheduling and time management skills.
• Knowledge of RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• SAP knowledge would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning and scheduling for short and long term objectives to ensure optimal maintenance effectiveness and allocate resources accordingly.
• Ensure CMMS data integrity, table updates, reporting and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain annual overhaul plans and communicate with production and maintenance leadership to meet deadlines.
• Monitor and analyze PMs and backlog, drive reliability improvements and minimize overdue maintenance.
• Produce reports and analyses to support downtime reduction and KPI targets.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors and internal teams to plan and execute maintenance activities.
