Job summary

MNP is seeking a Manager in its Assurance & Accounting team in Canada. The role focuses on leading client-facing engagements, delivering high-quality audits and financial statements across multiple frameworks, and mentoring staff.

This position requires CPA designation and 4–6 years of public accounting experience. You will manage portfolios, oversee planning and budgets, drive business development, and travel as needed to serve clients.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 4–6 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with audits and financial statements under ASPE, IFRS, US GAAP, ASNPO and PSAS.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Ability to network and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing audit and review engagements and tax engagements.
• Deliver industry expertise and high-quality assurance deliverables.
• Manage client portfolios, relationships and business development.
• Oversee engagement planning, scheduling, budgets, billing and collections.
• Maintain quality control and address client financial reporting issues.
• Network with local business community and contribute to competitive proposals.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback and performance reviews.
• Travel as needed.
