Senior Accountant, Assurance and Accounting - Private Enterprise Audit with MNP in Vancouver is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the Assurance & Accounting team. You will conduct reviews, audits, and financial analyses for private enterprises, providing tailored insights and reliable reporting.

Qualifikationen

• 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP, SEC and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience with accounting and tax software.

Aufgaben

• Conduct review and audit engagements.
• Set-up files for new clients and newly incorporated businesses; manage multiple files and inventories.
• Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset acquisition/disposition and payroll walk-through with clients.
• Summarize clients’ current financial status by preparing balance sheets, P&L and reports.
• Assess and assure the appropriateness of audit evidence for expenses, revenues, assets and payables.
• Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports.
• Establish charts of accounts and posting entries.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, client summaries and presentations.
• Develop working relationships with clients while mentoring junior team members.
• Participate in business development and identify new opportunities.
• Travel as needed.
