Job summary

RBC Phillips, Hager & North Investment Counsel Inc. in Ottawa seeks a dedicated support professional to assist an Investment Counsellor in daily portfolio maintenance and client service for high-net-worth clients. The position is salaried and located in a dynamic wealth-management team.

You will manage account openings, documentation, client meetings, and cross-team coordination, contributing to trusted advice that helps clients thrive and communities prosper.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of College Studies (DCS) or bachelor’s degree required.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • English required to serve our clients in the community with English-speaking needs.
  • Proven client service skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries and ensure issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Be a key support to the administrative activities and responsibilities of the team.
  • Ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Manage all aspects of account opening and documentation and maintain client cash flows and balances.
  • Maintain records and files and attend client meetings, as required.
  • Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings/calls.
  • Assist other team members and strengthen cross-business working relationships.

What will you do?

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$46,000.00 - $70,000.00
