Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities in Saint John, New Brunswick, is seeking a client services professional to maintain existing accounts and coordinate advisor meetings. Qualifications

  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) required.
  • Strong skills using business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Proven ability to provide world-class client service that is professional, warm, and friendly.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing client accounts and manage timelines and key dates.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly on account transactions and documentation.
  • Provide proactive client service and coordinate across departments for timely solutions.
  • Manage communications from clients, Advisors, and partners.
  • Assist Advisors in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
  • Coordinate meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects.
  • Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance of client files.
  • Update team communications channels (website, LinkedIn, brochures, newsletters).
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure settlements.
  • Support Wealth Management processes and track activities.

What will you do?
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients. You will be responsible for managing timelines and key dates for accounts to help ensure clients feel supported by our team.
  • Respond to client inquiries in an understanding and time-efficient manner (account transactions, requests, account documentation, account reporting, etc.).
  • Tap into your superior problem resolution skills to provide proactive client service. Working collaboratively, you will at times liaise with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.
  • Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors and other internal and external partners.
  • Assist the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
  • Leverage your passion for planning to coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.
  • Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring client files and other necessary documentation is accurate, up-to-date and compliant.
  • Draw on your social media skills to update the team’s communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, newsletters.
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Support the Advisor team and client through the Wealth Management process and maintain an audit of Wealth Management Activities and priorities.
