Job summary

CIBC in Victoria, BC seeks a Private Banking Associate to deliver exceptional service to Private Banking clients, handling transactional banking needs and queries. You will assist in lending, borrowing, investing, and coordinating with advisors to meet client goals.

You’ll support account maintenance, compliance, and client communications while helping to grow deposits and investment activities within regulatory guidelines. This role offers on-site work with potential flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering client-focused service in a banking environment.
• Ability to handle transactional banking needs with accuracy.
• Familiarity with lending, borrowing and investment products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and sales support to Private Banking Advisors.
• Assist clients with transactional banking, wires, payments and account inquiries.
• Support in portfolio management, client communication and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate marketing events and maintain deposits and investment accounts.
