Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Retail Bank products, systems and services; detailed understanding of commercial and retail credit principles.
• Good understanding of tax, estate and financial planning and investment vehicles.
• Ability to identify client needs and provide tailored recommendations.

• Ability to engage with affluent clientele with poise and professionalism.

• Financial planning proficiency standard (in province) or ICB Diploma in Personal Finance for Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Assist in effective management of client relationships and provide high-quality customer service.
• Develop knowledge of Bank products and services; become a subject matter expert.
• Assist in client onboarding and recommending retail solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client and prospect relationships.
• Participate in credit management of the unit's portfolio and manage a portfolio of less complex credits.
• Support effective operation of the Private Banking Unit in compliance with regulatory requirements.
